The Internship Program allows American employers the freedom to use the services of highly - qualified students or recent graduates in an internship program.
Programs are designed to improve students' knowledge and capabilities while providing skilled and highly motivated help to the employment team. Each applicant will gain extensive experience in the field he/she applied for and will learn a great deal about the American hospitality industry and culture.

- Visa Type : J-1 intern/Traineeship
- Duration : 12months
- Requirements for Candidacy
  1. Internship
      Current students or recent graduates, (within 12 months of graduation) of institutions, granting
      a degree program/certificate outside of the US are available to use the program.
      This program provides the Students work-based experience reinforcing their academic studies and skills.
  2. Traineeship
      A. graduates of degree or certificate granting post secondary institution with one year of work
      experience outside the US
      B. Non-graduates with five years of work experience outside the U.S.
      [Hospitality and Tourism programs have been reduced to 12months from the current 18months]
- Companies / Host Institutions : Hotels, Resorts, Casino-Hotels, Restaurants, Entertainment Venues
- Rate of pay : $8 - $13 per hour.
- Training hours : Minimum of 35 hours per week. Overtime pay applicable.
- Housing information : Agent or employer will provide housing information and assistance in the USA
  for the applicants.
- Employers : can request interns year-round.


Recruiting procedure

    The timeframe is approximately 2-3 months from the time of application to commencement of
    employment.


    The applicants are informed about the program and all relevant details. They are assisted with
    necessary documentation, with setting up an interview in English with the prospective US employers,
    and sponsor organization.


    Further assistance is provided with the application, training plan, DS-2019 form, US visa application,
    arrival to USA, trainee orientation and the assignment in USA.
