| The Seasonal Work program helps companies fulfill their seasonal and/or high peak staffing needs. Workers can come for 4 to 10 months, and companies are able to bring back the same eligible workers year after year. Employers compensate seasonal workers with the prevailing rate of pay for regular full-time employees in the same positions. |
- Visa Type : H2B
- Duration : 4 - 10 months (extendable twice locally)
- Requirement : experience in culinary / hospitality fields.
- Companies / Host Institutions : Hotels, Resorts, Casino-Hotels, Restaurants, Entertainment Venues, etc.
- Rate of pay : $7 - $13 per hour (Tips will be extra)
- Work hours : Minimum 35 hours per week. Overtime pay applicable
- Employers : Can request worker for peak times / seasonal needs (4 - 10 months of period)

Filing the Petition
This program requires employer - sponsored visa
USA employer must file and be approved, form I-129 petition by US Labor Department.
Employer also must apply for and receive the form I-797 approval notice by US Immigration Office.
Filing must be made no more than 6 months and no less than 45 days before the employment.

Recruiting procedure
Job Fair and Interview is conducted with the prospective US employers, and sponsor organization.
Timeframe is approximately 2-3 months from the time of application to commencement of employment.
Further assistance is provided with arrival to USA, employment orientation and the assignment in USA.
